MFT Scholarships - FAQ

You will need to furnish a valid id such as Adhaar / PAN / Passport / Voter Id etc. of your child to prove your nationality and be eligible for the scholarship amount. In addition, you will also need to furnish the school / college id of the child.

To get this scholarship, you must have been a registered student with MyFavTutor and you will need to get a Tutor from MyFavTutor. Your family should not have a gross income of more than Rs. 6,00,000 per annum. You also have to furnish your student id from the school you are studying and must be a citizen of India. You will have to provide documents to prove each of the above criteria.

No, there is no entrance test. But you will have to meet the rest of our eligibility criteria.

The scholarship amount will be transferred monthly to the tutor's account to avoid misuse of funds. The company will verify from the tutor whether all the classes has taken place as per schedule and then transfer the amount. MFT Scholarships Governance Team will decide on the scholarships to be given out each month. Their decision will be considered as final.

As of now, it will be distributed to students enrolling for the year 2020. It will be reviewed every year.

Yes, any student whose family income is less than Rs. 6,00,000 per annum and is taking classes through MyFavTutor portal is eligible for this amount.

This scholarship is intended to assist financially weak students and provide them an equal platform to take private tuition from experienced tutors.

Yes, scholarship will be given to any citizen of India, belonging to any state, provided you meet the rest of our eligibility criteria.

No, you have to get a private tutor through our platform. This is required for maintaining the authenticity and genuine usage of the scholarship fund.

The primary objective of MyFavTutor is to connect students with tutors. Even if you do not get a scholarship, you can still use our platform to get connected with some of the best tutors from all over the country. You may get a lot of good tutors who charge a very reasonable tuition fee.

As of now, the scholarships are being given out to support deserving students in their regular / academic studies. Unconventional subjects have not been No, you must be a student of a recognized school in India. You can learn anything, but providing the student id is essential for your identification. 

You can go for online tuition. Online tutoring is the new “Normal” and it is convenient as well. The location will not matter there and you would become eligible for our scholarship, provided you meet our other eligibility criteria.
